@shollin84 chltmdwp isn’t exactly right, it depends on the carrier. With sprint and verizon, they know exactly what phone you are using at all times and will require you to have a data plan. With ATT and T-mobile however you could tell them you were using some sort of phone that wouldn’t require a data plan and then put the sim card in the touch pro 2, you could just use the wifi, however I would never recommend a smart phone without a data plan as you take away most of the features.

@iCrucifix I believe this phone is wwaaayyy better than the iphone in most ways the only downlfall is the application comparison because tp2 so far is very limited but windows mobile may catch up with the mobile sky market for windows mobile .

It depends on your application. If you like tha ability to add random applications and multimedia then the iphone is the phone for you. If you are like me and use many windows applications and text a lot then you will love this phone. I personally like a physical keyboard better than the on screen key board. What I did was got an itouch for my multi media and then got this phone for my phone. Now that I have this I don’t even the itouch any more unless I’m in the car. Very nice phone.
